added some background assets, using the tree stump from quixel. I used a bend modifier on them and adjusted the texture colors, they make do for a cool background silhouette. Used simple planes to block the sunlight and to emphasize the focal area.

decided on only one tower and used some assets from quixel to fill in the scene, going from big>small. Not more then 5 assets were used, since the rest i will be painting later or introduced too much detail.

imported the model from 3dcoat. I was not comfortable with 3D coat enough to introduce extra detail and decided that building was okay enough for the scene thanks to textures. Was playing a lot with different scenes. Lighted the scene using a HDRI.

reference picture. I liked the idea with a tree growing on top, and wanted to make a scene with that idea as focus point.

Personal artwork and experiment where I'm applying my learned tricks in 3D to create better base shots, saving me time painting over all textures or searching for photos. Total time is around 8hr in 3D and 4 hr painting in Photoshop. Looking forward to continuing to pursue 3D in my new works. Used blender for texturing, 3D coat for the main tower model and Quixel Megascans for the other assets and textures.
